    I have also been advised to take this daily as it will help with my eyes. I have an autoimmune disease called, Sjogrens, that causes extremely dry eyes. I love your products, as I am a big advocate of supplementals.

    I am actually taking Now omega but I think it was not omega 3. Do you recommend omega 3 for after my workout or before the workout? I do strength training and sometimes cardio.

      Omega 3 and Omega 6 are good for work outs as they protect your muscles and any tears you may incur during your training. Take it before training.

    I have often heard about the benefits of fish oil but mum says that we can’t afford to buy fish all the time. I wonder how much these supplements are in New Zealand. It would be fantastic to be able to take these! They sound wonderful and if we can’t afford fish, maybe we can get the supplements!

    I just began using chia seeds in my fruit and veggie drinks. I didn’t know it carried Omega 3 fatty oils. I will be making sure I don’t forget to put it in my drinks each morning. I realize it is good for inflammation which I tend to experience in my hands. I’ll be keep this site close by to help me deal with the stress and anxiety I can’t seem to avoid.     This is an amazing article, so informative. I use Omega-3 fish oil as i recognize the health benefits that it has in reducing cholesterol levels and such. What i didn’t know though was that it can be contaminated and i need to beware of where the fish oil is coming from and how it was purified. I take omega-3 to be healthy and if it is contaminated it will only make me sick.Thanks for this eye opener.

    I had no idea about the DHA and EPA optimum content for Omega-3! After reading this and before commenting I ran to the kitchen to check my own Omega-3 brand and was happy to see that it met all the standards you mentioned, but the one before that I think did not!
