Stress,Anxiety

Just had surgery? Surgery is a major invasion for your body.  Having, cat scans, x-rays and toxins from all the pre, post and recovery medications, really take a toll on your body.

Surgery is necessary in most cases and the anti biotics and such are also necessary but you must help your organs recover from all of the invasion and toxins.

Also keep in mind about all the many emotions related to surgery.  Fear of the unknown, shock, grief, anxiety and of course high stress.

Helping your body recover and aiding the organs to get back to normal is paramount.  Liver and kidneys are put through extra work and need as much help as they can get. There are a multitude of holistic aids to help.

One of my top would be rescue remedy, you can get this in liquid form, always the best.  A probiotic is essential especially if you are taking anti – biotics.

The best thing is to do your own research and pick one or two to start with and work up from there.  Your body needs help to heal and you can help it through this.

It is always scary after surgery and you want to do the right thing to get well.  Knowledge is key and you should try to get informed by researching and then finding what is best for you.  Just because it works for someone else does not mean it works for everyone.  You will be able to judge for yourself.  Holistic choices have little or no side effects so you can experiment.

Exploring Emotional Freedom Techniques if you do not already know about it is one of the best things you can do to clear all the emotions attached to your surgery.

You never know when you might need surgery.  One of my friends went to his doctor for abdominal pain and was immediately transported to ER for emergency surgery for a hernia and infection in the bladder. Stress and anxiety sets in when something like this happens suddenly.

Helen, this is interesting. How does probiotic affect the emotions of a person? If this works, then how about those probiotic cultured drinks that you get in hypermarkets? Does it work as well?

Pr-Biotics do not affect your emotions The pro-biotic after surgery helps your body recover from the anti biotics and the medication you are given during and after surgery.
