Louise Hay Heal Your Body – Staying Positive and Inspired

Positive quotes and affirmations

Louise Hay,You can Heal your LIfe

Louise Hay,  heal your body is one of my all-time favorite authors because she creates such a positive outlook on health and wellness. How to heal your body is one of my favorites. In 1984 she founded Hay House to self-publish this book which is now an international bestseller.

Today Hay House is one of the fastest growing mind-body-spirit and transformational enterprises in the world. Even though Louise passed away this year 2017.

I decided in this post I would share some of my favorite authors and books that have helped me for decades and also helped me with my clients.  I use the techniques on myself and I teach my clients most of them also.   Helping others be empowered is one of my true missions in life.

There are numerous other authors who I am sure you are familiar with and you have your favorites but I am sharing mine with you and perhaps you can add them to your wish list. Thes books are self-help books and can be downloaded or if you prefer the hard copies you can get them too.Mirror Work by Louise Hay

Louise in her book mirror work gives great exercises in loving yourself unconditionally.  I am a great believer in this one as I have had such wonderful results when I do this with my clients.  Many people do not love themselves and some interesting things come up when you start the mirror work. I think everyone should do this exercise and then teach their children to do it too.

Healing your body comes with self-confidence and believing in yourself that you can really do it.  Teaching children from a young age is a great way to help them have tools to cope with the world and the idea that you need to be on medication all the time.

Positive affirmations are crucial in my opinion to our well being.  We are all too easy to have our self-talk very negative, this, in turn, causes our emotions to correspond to the negative self-talk.  Listening to and reciting positive affirmations on a daily basis really helps change your mindset and your emotions.  In this video, you will hear Louise who has an amazing calming voice recite numerous affirmations which you will definitely benefit from.

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Another great favorite of mine, he has insights that he shares from his personal experience of being an orphan.  His books and CDs are very powerful and totally life-changing.  I met him once a few years just before he died, watching him speak live is motivating and inspiring. Another great author to heal your body and your mind.

Both of these authors have given me so much inspiration especially when I hurt my back and was laid up for some time.  I would listen to Louise Hay and watch Wayne Dyer all the time.  Using their techniques really helped me get better.  I am so sorry they are not around anymore.

Other Authors I love are Dr. Richard Bandler, who I trained with.

Napoleon Hill, Virginia Satir, Dr. Bruce Lipton.  These authors also help to heal your body and your mind.

Which Author inspires you and why?

Please share this post with others so they may benefit also.

Thanks for the book suggestions. I like the books of Tim Ferriss very much because he covers a big range of subjects that can help you, especially in his book Tools of Titans. Another book i read these days is The Power of No from James and Claudia Altucher.
    Take care 😉

Positive affirmations and having self confidence is key to having a happy healthy (mental health)life in my opinion so I am very glad that you mentioned these two things in your article, awesome and needed right now for me. Great article and really made me think and get back to positive affirmation for the day.

I have read both of these authors and while they are both great Dr Dyer really hits home with me. I strongly believe in The Law of Attraction and what we believe is who we are.

    Hi Helen,

Thanks for the great information. I love any books, articles, quotes and videos about Personal development – anything that aims to inspire, motivate and improve the lives of others. I haven’t read any of these books, but will definitely read “Mirror work” and “Power thought cards” as I’m sure I’ll get a lot out of them. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Getting the time to read can always be a challenge these days with so many things to do. I like to listen to the audio versions if I can then I can listen and work at the same time 🙂
